We understand that community needs vary across our footprint and want to ensure our team members can directly impact the communities they call home. Across our manufacturing locations, branches and offices, we provide our employees with the tools and resources they need to build partnerships with local community organizations and carry out activities that impact local needs.
Our Rocky Mount, VA Windows manufacturing facility has seen great success and tremendous employee engagement since they began a Connecting Communities team in late 2021. Since then, they’ve supported more than 50 organizations and donated more than 1,600 employee volunteer hours.
In 2022, we set a goal of expanding our Connecting Communities program to 10 total participating facilities. And we met it -- we launched the program at eight additional sites and increased engagement with our existing outreach teams. Our aim is to become an integral element of each community as we grow our partnerships with community leaders.
