What is the Home for Good project?
The Home for Good project is a foundational pillar that supports our company purpose of giving back to communities.
As of 2019, over 37 million U.S. households were cost-burdened, paying more than 30% of their income on housing, forgoing personal and economic stability that safe, decent housing provides. And now, the COVID-19 pandemic has made obtaining and maintaining affordable housing even more difficult for so many families across North America.
Since the Home for Good project's inception in 2016, we’ve partnered with Habitat for Humanity, and donated more than $2 million in Ply Gem building products and countless employee volunteer hours to help build more than 550 homes in 90 communities. And through this difficult time, we continue to help build affordable housing for those in need.
