Cornerstone Building Brands is proud to announce its President and CEO, Rose Lee, has been recognized by CEOWORLD on its 2023 Top Female CEOs of America’s Largest Public Companies list.

Cornerstone Building Brands, a premier manufacturer of exterior building products in North America, is proud to announce its President and CEO, Rose Lee, has been named to CEOWORLD’s 2023 Top Female CEOs of America’s Largest Public Companies list. The 2023 list, based on Fortune Magazine’s 69th annual Fortune 500 rankings, recognizes women’s capabilities in top-level positions and the greater shift towards diversity, equity and inclusion within corporate leadership. Lee is ranked 55 on the list of 84 female CEOs.

Lee brings more than 30 years of manufacturing experience to her position as president and CEO and member of the board of directors of Cornerstone Building Brands. Earlier in her career, Lee held senior leadership positions at DuPont, Saint-Gobain, Pratt & Whitney and Booz Allen Hamilton. Lee has also received various industry honors and leadership positions since joining the company.

Most recently, Lee was named to the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) Board of Directors, joining the NAM Board to bolster the association’s leadership in policy advocacy, legal action, workforce solutions, operational excellence, and news and insights. This year, Lee also served as the chair of the Manufacturing Institute’s (MI) 2023 Women MAKE Awards, an initiative dedicated to showcasing the opportunities the manufacturing industry has to offer and to honoring women of all levels within the industry who demonstrate excellence and leadership within their careers.

In 2022, Lee was named a 2022 Pinnacle Award recipient by the Asian American Business Development Center (AABDC), the highest honor of the AABDC’s annual Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business Awards program. The Pinnacle Award recognizes individuals widely acknowledged as leaders in their fields and who are at the top of their professional careers. Lee is also the first female Korean American CEO of a Fortune 1000 company.

Lee was also named a 2022 Peak 25 honoree by the Triangle Business Journal (TBJ). Peak 25 recognizes executives in the Raleigh-Durham area who have become leaders of their organizations within the past two years and are positioning their organizations for growth and excellence. Within her Peak 25 profile, Lee shares insights on her company leadership, her professional journey and her work to create an impactful and purpose-driven organization.
